In order to accelerate M2Gen’s ability to leverage state-of-the-art medical documentation and systems to assist research discovery efforts, we are expanding our capabilities in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to more readily access non-discrete clinical information in free-text medical records and reports. The informatics team routinely processes clinical-genetic-proteomic data to test and validate hypotheses, mine the data warehouse for biomarkers related to clinical outcomes, and provide probabilistic significance metrics for determining strongly correlative factors for further discovery.
