Michele Talka, SPHR, CEBS

Director, HR Operations

Michele is the designated HR Officer at M2Gen as part of her larger role as the Director, HR Operations at the Moffitt Cancer Center. As HR Operations Director she has responsibility for multiple HR departments including those that manage the organization’s total reward program, HR data and systems management, leave management, HR metrics, and faculty and staff services that includes an on-site health care clinic, on-site and back up child care as well as multiple Wellness programs.

Michele has 25 years in HR management in a variety of for-profit, service focused industries with companies such as General Electric, Experian, and Bank of America. Immediately prior to joining Moffitt she worked as a HR consultant for small to mid-size organizations needing to revitalize or grow their HR capabilities.

Michele holds a CEBS and Fellow designation from the Wharton School, a SPHR certification and is a licensed insurance agent. She has a Bachelors degree from the University of Georgia and a Masters degree from Georgia State University. Michele is a current member of the CEO Cancer Gold Standard accreditation committee, the Prudential Retirement National Client Advisory Board, and is a former Board member of the Healthy Together Community organization and the American Diabetes Association Atlanta chapter.
